Sue & Eoghan got married at the wonderful Coombe Lodge in Blagden just outside Bristol in October this year. Sue and Eo contacted me as they loved the style of documentary wedding photography that I do, and wanted a relaxed and informative style of photography for their wedding. Combe Lodge is awesome for Bristol wedding photography, its warm wood-panelled rooms and friendly staff ensure weddings flow nicely, meaning photography there is a breeze.
The weather on the day was, well, perfect really, a far cry from the rain of August, this October wedding had awesome Autumninal sun mixed with a fine, warm evening. This really was a fabulous wedding with so many friendly faces and with everyone having a genuinly good time!
Anyways, enough of the babble, here are some photos that I made!
Great set of pictures, love the strong lightning some of those black and white images!
Cheers Paul, much appreciated 🙂
Hi Nik, thanks for your comment 🙂 I use a 35mm F1.4 and a 24-70mm F2.8 on a 5d Mk2, thats all I use 🙂
Nice documentary coverage Ian. I like in particualr some of your high contrast black and whites, they create a nice feel! You captured the nice relaxed and fun “ambiance” of the day!
O wow! These are fab, fab, FAB photos! Captured the day perfectly!
Lovely storytelling.
