Amie & Fred – An awesome outdoor festival wedding

I photograph all kinds of amazing weddings at some beautiful buildings, however, as a lover of the outdoors, a wedding in a massive field is something that I absolutely love!

Amie and Fred’s wedding was just that!! When they told me about their wedding a few things stood out, big field, circus tent, HUGE sound system, retro cars, pretty much THE perfect wedding.

It was September last year that the wedding took place, on a super hot hot day in Timbsury, a little village on the outskirts of Bath. My day started at Amie’s parents place where Amie and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Prosecco was being downed, and everyone was having a great laugh. Fortunately Fred was getting ready 2 minutes down the road, which meant I could cover them both getting ready. Love it when this happens!! Fred’s side of things was equally as relaxed and jovial! Also…you might spot the most appropriate ever addition to a wedding car…I’ll let you guess what it is!

Amie & Fred did the whole official bit in St. Mary’s Church in Timsbury, a smashing village church with a lovely vicar, who really made their service as relaxed as ever.

On from the church we all headed a few miles up the road to a beautiful field, nestled in the rolling hills outside Bath, it was just bloody stunning! Basically from the point I rocked up to when I went home, it was just one massive party! To say it was fun to photograph would be an understatement! Everyone was drinking and eating and partying and hanging around next to fires and generally letting their hair down! As the night drew to a close I was kinda sad to be leaving, so many lovely people who were a pleasure to be around.
