Jemma & Rich’s booked me as their wedding photographer at No. 4 Clifton Village in Bristol through a recommendation from a friend. This cute little restaurant and bar is a great place to photograph, with nice features dotted about the place and is definitely one of my favorite venues in the Bristol area.
The day started off with Jemma getting ready in one of the rooms of the hotel, it was manic as ever the air full of nervous excitement. In between Gemma putting her beautiful dress on I had time to nip downstairs to photograph the final preparations for the day ahead, including a very nervous looking Rich turning up.
After the preparation it was through to the ceremony which was a real chilled out celebration (slightly bizarrely the registrar was the same chap who was the registrar at our wedding, so that was a bit surreal!)
Following the ceremony Jemma and Rich headed out to the garden for drinks, canapé’s and silliness. Their garden party style reception fitted in with my style of photography perfectly. With kids playing hide and seek amongst the shrubs and the adults sinking pimps and munching their way through the beautiful canapés.
I photographed until right up the end of the speeches, it was a great day, and am looking forward to photographing at No. 4 Clifton Village very soon.
