Normally this time of year, I’m knee-deep in summer weddings, obviously, this year is a tad different, which gives me the opportunity to share more weddings from last year.
Jemma & Will tied the knot back on a super-duper hot day in Cardiff last year, hot actually was an understatement…it was scorching!!! These guys booked me as I’d photographed their good mates Ben & Adam’s wedding, wayyyy back in 2012, that day was hot as well!!!
The day started off at the wonderful Conway Road Methodist Church. This church is absolutely beautiful, with the most wonderful interior ever! Their service was great, full of laughter, and obviously for a Welsh wedding, full of song! Once the service was finished, it was on to tea and Welsh cakes, this was fast turning into one of my favorite weddings ever…Welsh cakes are pretty much my all-time favorite cake!
Once everyone had stuffed themselves, we all headed to Cardiff Bay and the reception, which took place at The Exchange Hotel. This is when folks really let their hair down, there was laughter where-ever you turned with some many lovely little moments to photograph.
The speeches followed the wedding breakfast and then it was onto the dancing to finish the night off.
Jem & Will’s day was so much fun to photograph, I was made to feel like one of their guests, everyone was so friendly and warm. There were so many funny and lovely moments to photograph, it really was an amazing wedding day.
