We’ve had our images arrive, and we could not be happier! They’re amazing, and we’re so thrilled 😀
Thank you so much for all your hard work on the day. Everyone’s been commenting on how great you were, and how you fitted in with the whole day.
Ben and Tasha’s big day was right up my street, beautifully down to earth and very very relaxed. I made my way over to Streamcombe Farm in Exmoor in the height of summer last year. A lovely drive through the west country from my base in Bath, the weather definitely played ball with endless skies and warm sunshine beating down upon the Somerset landscape.
I arrived to cover Ben and Tasha getting ready, this was super relaxed, with everyone having a good old laugh whilst making themselves look suitably awesome. Tash and her mates were having a great laugh while she slipped into her beautiful dress courtesy of Nicola Bridal & Special Occasions.
Ben and Tasha then made their way up to the nearby woods where their ceremony took place. This was as idyllic as you could ever wish for! Their ceremony ‘room’ was just a clearing in the woods, with a simple arch in front of a giant tree as the ‘altar’ They enlisted the help of Carol Smith, the Somerset Celebrant to run the ceremony. This was a simple hand-fasting ceremony, the original way of ‘tying the knot’ and was both elegant and emotive.
After the ceremony it was onto the reception where everyone let their hair down and enjoyed themselves right to the very end with The Thatchers providing the music.
Ben and Tasha’s rustic, countryside wedding really was an amazing day, and one which I absolutely loved being part of. If you are getting married at Streamcombe Farm or have an outdoor, hand fasting wedding, drop me a line.
