Rachel & Gavin – Newport Cathedral Wedding Photography

September last year saw me taking the trip back to the thriving metropolis of Newport, South Wales, for Rachel and Gavin’s big day.

The day started off with me photographing Rachel and her bridesmaid’s preparation, I love covering the prep work at weddings, its a time thats full of excitement and anticipation, which in turn means endless opportunities for great documentary photography.

Once the prep work was done it was onto Newport St Woolos Cathedral for the ceremony. A cracking place to get married, lovely architecture and plenty of room to move around in, ideal! After the ceremony it was onto a local park for some formal shots and then onto Peterstone Lakes Golf club just outside Cardiff for the reception and much dancing.
