Gloucester Old Spot, Bristol Wedding Photographer – Nic & Matt

August last year saw me make the short trip from Bath to Bristol to photograph Nic and Matt’s wedding. Their day started off with me heading over to cover Matt getting ready with his family in a little Air BnB which was directly opposite their actual home. This was super useful as it allowed me to pop between the two, allowing me to photograph both Matt and Nic getting ready. This allowed for a far more complete story to be told through my images, perfect in my eyes.

A smashing church, with interesting light and allowed for some interesting photographs. I am always extremely respectful when photographing in churches, always ensuring I’m not moving around too much, and being as quiet as possible, luckily, with my style of documentary wedding photography, this comes as second nature.

On from the church service, and a bit of confetti lobbing, we all walked over to the Gloucester Old Spot pub. Was great being able to walk the streets with Nic and Matt, allowing me to take some super natural, candid portraits of them both, ideal!

Their reception at the boozer was brill! Really laid-back, but with the Irish contingent of the wedding providing some pretty awesome dancefloor moments!
