I’ve been woefully behind on my blogging of late. The combined life changing events such as moving house (I’m now based in Bath), welcoming our new son into the world (hello Osian!) together with a manic summer full of lovely weddings has meant I’ve neglected the blog.
Let’s change that shall we and kick off with Jenny and Emyr’s big day back in September of last year. I used to work with Jenny so was over the moon when she asked me to cover her wedding at the lovely Cathedral 73 over in Cardiff. Cathedral 73 is an awesome little boutique hotel, just a stone’s throw from the temple of rugby, The Millennium Stadium! It’s a venue that suits a relaxed, laid back wedding and has a real welcoming atmosphere, the food is also bloody good!!!
Jenny and Emyr’s day was suitably down to earth and was a real joy to photograph. My style of relaxed, documentary wedding photography really suited the general vibe of their wedding. Being able to seamlessly blend into a wedding is key to my outlook on wedding photography, preferring to observe rather than direct.
Anyway, enough of my ramblings, enjoy some selected images below. (Gold star if you can spot me in one of the photos!)
If you are planning your wedding at Cathedral 73 in Cardiff drop me a line.
