Debbie and Jason contacted me as their Hampshire wedding photographer back at the start of this year. They got married at St Marys Church Old Basing in Basingstoke and then had their reception at the wonderful Clock Barn in Whitchurch. Both venues were interesting places to photograph, the church had an L shaped entry isle, which as a bit different to the norm. Clock Barn itself is a lovely, warm, rustic setting and has a perfect mix of contemporary touches mixed with proper old school barn features. The atmosphere was lovely, Debbie, Jason, their families and guests were such a friendly bunch of folks, I honestly felt like one of their guests at the wedding.
I was there to cover the whole day, from the bridal preparations at the Hampshire Court Hotel right through to the dancing at the end. This is where documentary wedding photography really comes into it’s own. It enables me to cover every single bit of the wedding, meaning the images tell the full story of the day.
Fantastic set mate. The ‘getting ready’ photos were all executed so well. Love the lighting and compositions. Well done mate, keep it up!
