Coombe Lodge, Bristol Wedding Photographer – Will & Shannon

Will and Shannon are very good mates of mine, so when they asked me to be their wedding photographer at Coombe Lodge in Bristol, I was bother honoured and super excited! Photographing weddings of friends always gives the day a totally unique twist. Turning up at a friends wedding normally involves a healthy amount of banter flying about, with the usual jokes directed at me, normally picking up on my Welshness, shortness or baldness, who needs friends huh!!!

Anyway! Onto the wedding! The day started off with my photographing Shannon, her mum and her mates getting ready, this took place over two locations first, a beautiful country house and then onto Coombe Lodge itself. Make-up was done by the amazing Rachel from Be Beauty (check her work out!). Both Will and Shannon finished off their prep at Coombe Lodge, which allowed me to cover both of them getting into their finery. It’s not often I get to photograph the groom and his mates getting ready, so was pretty cool to be able to do that.

After all the finishing touches were finished, it was onto the wedding proper! A flurry of ‘i-do’s’ followed by a lush cosy drinks reception, comedic speeches and epic dancing!
