Tony & Jess

Brympton House Documentary Wedding Photography

Another blog post please I hear you cry?! Tony and Jess’ Brympton House wedding photography was a great laugh! This wedding harks back to the back end of 2017 and to the palatial surroundings of Brympton House near Yeovil. This place is something special, it’s big and old, parts of it are 750 years old, there are loads of amazing features, plus it’s one of those places where the light in some of the rooms is lush.

Anyways, enough of the history lesson. Tony and Jess are good mates of mine, so this wedding was a bit different in that I knew 99% of the people there! Now, besides both Jess and Tony being all around good eggs, they are also run Suave Owl, a swanky menswear shop, that recently picked up a spangly winners award at the recent South West Wedding Awards! Safe to say, Tony and his ushers were looking proper smart, carrying off a range of rather nice suits.

The wedding itself was a great laugh! No one took it too seriously, which meant plenty of great photos of folks relaxing and having a bloody good time. From all the blokes dropping their trousers, a sight to behold that’s for sure, to Tony shedding some tears as Jess walked up the aisle, this wedding had it all.

I was there from just before the ceremony to just before food a good amount of time in which to capture some great moments. This amount of coverage is great for those couples who still want some great wedding photography, but who don’t want a photographer with them for the entire day.

If you are getting married at the wonderful Brympton House and are looking for a relaxed, documentary photographer, get in touch here. My 2019 dates are booking up fast and as I only shoot around 20 weddings a year, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
