The Trinity Centre, Bristol Wedding Photography – Katie & Russ

There’s something really special about weddings at the wonderful Trinity Centre in Bristol. It’s an awesome community art centre for Bristol and always hosts weddings that are quirky and super relaxed, perfection if you ask me.

Katie and Russ dropped me a line when they were looking for a documentary wedding photographer for their wedding at the Trinity Centre. They had seen my work from previous weddings and were keen to get on board, wanting relaxed wedding photography with none of the fuss.

They opted for one of my bespoke packages as they didn’t require me to photograph the preparation or the dancing. When I arrived, it was around an hour before their ceremony, just in time to photograph Russ and his mates arriving, he was super relaxed on the outside, although I reckon there were a few butterflies fleeting about on the inside!

Their ceremony took place in the beautiful Fyfe Hall, a lovely elegant space with a massive floor to ceiling window providing the most beautiful natural light. We all made out way out from the ceremony and onwards to the reception. This rolled by the with maximum about of relaxedness (is that a word!?). I absolutely love it when everyone is just hanging out, having a good time, it allows me to mingle around and be part of the wedding, photographing from the inside out. It also enables me to hear some truly funny stories and moments, wedding photography is the best job when this happens!

Katie and Russ kindly left me a lovely review as well, thanks guys!

Ian is an incredibly talented photographer who took the most gorgeous photos of our wedding this summer. We were blown away by the quality and how Ian captured the beautiful, poignant moments without being intrusive. On top of this, he is a really friendly and approachable guy and was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process; many of our guests commented on how fantastic he was on the day.

Anyway! The reception was soon over and we all made out way inside for the speeches, these were properly amusing, and again showed up the relaxed nature of Katie and Russ’ day.

If you are getting married at the Trinity Centre in Bristol and are on the lookout for a relaxed wedding photographer, get in touch. I don’t really do much in the way of posing people, I just photograph your day as it happens, no messing about, no intrusion.
