Here’s a lovely selection of Ant & Em’s Frenchay Church and Paintworks Bristol wedding photography.
Ant & Em are very good friends of mine, Ant actually introduced me to my wife way back in 2007 through a mutual love of VW’s! I’m always super honoured to be asked by good friends to photograph their weddings, I’ve cover a good few of my mates weddings in the past and always enjoy doing them.
Their awesome day started off at Frenchay Parish Church, a stunning church just outside Bristol set in an amazing village green. The sense of excitement was on show right from the beginning with everyone in high spirits and revelling in the spring sunshine, there were kids running wild, hugs left right and centre and in the middle of it all, Ant, a picture of calmness! After chatting to the vicar he didn’t want me to photograph the ceremony from up the front where I normally go. Whilst this is always disappointing you have to respect the wishes of the minister, it’s their place after all!
On from the ceremony we headed over the Paintworks, an amazing gallery space which is fabulous for photography, so many different colours and architectural features. The day was a brilliant from start to finish, everyone was super relaxed and in the mood for having fun, perfect for documentary wedding photography!
